A Modern Trousseau Flagship Boutique

April News

Happy April!

April is such a fun time to be in the bridal industry because it’s New York Bridal Fashion Week! Every April and October, all the bridal designers release their newest collections, and we get to see the new bridal gowns, bridesmaids dresses, and bridal accessories, and decide which pieces we want for our store! Since we became a Modern Trousseau flagship, bridal market has changed a bit because we only see one bridal dress designer, but Callie Tein never disappoints with her new designs, and this year was no exception!

As we’ve mentioned in previous journal posts, Callie and her team design and create all Modern Trousseau gowns right in their headquarters in Connecticut, and yesterday we went to see the new collection and also got a behind-the-scenes look at where all the gowns are made! It was amazing to see all the seamstresses hard at work and to see our brides’ dresses in various stages of production. Here are some photos of what the Modern Trousseau workshop looks like:

Modern Trousseau’s Spring 2020 line consisted of 8 beautiful bridal dresses. Callie incorporated beautiful, unique laces and embroideries into this collection, while still keeping everything simple, sleek, and classic. We are so excited to receive them in the shop and know our brides are going to absolutely love each and every one of them. Here is a sneak peek at one of the new gowns, but make sure to check our Instagram for more photos of the gowns as they arrive in store! And make sure to make an appointment to see these new beauties in person (pictures don’t do them justice)!

We’re looking forward to seeing what our bridesmaids and accessories designers create for the new season in the next few weeks and will keep you all posted through our social media as new pieces come into the store! As always, if you have any questions, feel free to call us, email us, or fill out an appointment request form!

Xoxo,

Leigh & Tori
